Ispahan believes in giving back and has an active CSR program

 

Company’s core values emphasise client relationships, staff training and retention, and engagement with community and the environment on local and regional basis.
 
        Health & Safety
1.     Managing Director is course director for a 5 day “Fundamentals of Process Safety” course run throughout the region, and
2.     Spoke at 2 seminars run by Singapore Safety Council on Chemical Process Industry Safety.
3.     Co-organiser of Leadership in Process Safety Seminar with WDA/WHSC/SISO with Judith Hackitt (UK Head HSE)
4.   Given talks on HAZOP, Pressure Relief and Process Safety to the IChemE Young Engineers Group

          Education & Training
1.     Teach a Masters Module in Project Engineering (CN5191) in the Department of Chemical and Bio-molecular Engineering at NUS.
2.     Run training courses in Process Safety, Risk Assessment Facilitation, HAZOPs and Project Engineering.
 
          Community Outreach
1.     Fundraising for the Green Gecko Project in Cambodia, raising around S$30,000 on one night with a musical gala night and auction.
2.     Founder and organiser of Careers and Sports Day for Chemical Engineering students and industry in the region now attracting over 800 participants.
 
          Environmental Sustainability
1.     Developed an eco-town concept and has been active in promoting the concept of sustainability to universities and at institutions in the region, including, NUS, SP, UNITEN, UiTM, Taylors College, IChemE, IEM and Institution of Architects in Malaysia (PAM).
