Pressure Relief Systems (3 day)
Pressure relief systems are essential for protecting us from harm. The basis of safety required to ensure the right safety case is developed and the correct scenarios selected. This includes developing the safety case, selection of hardware, DIERS (2 phase relief systems), maintenance and calibration of these essential systems.
HAZOP and Risk Assessment basics (1 or 3 Day)
HAZOP is a key tool, when used correctly to assess and review the design before it goes into operation. It requires a senior team and a systematic approach using a skilled facilitator. This course outlines many of the key approaches needed in a HAZOP to identify hazards in operation and inherent in the design.
Project Engineering (3 day)
This course covers the project lifecycle, from inception through to legal requirements, through design, preparing proposals and estimates, contract types, planning/scheduling, construction, project collaboration, pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover and site engineering. This course is ideal for engineers of any discipline working or planning to enter the process industries looking to understand how the whole lifecycle of a project.
Commissioning (3 day)
This course is for engineering looking to enter into a commissioning or start up role, whether this be for a small modification or for the complex multi-million dollar greenfield site. Each project as it's unique challenges and requirements. This course outlines good practice and helps engineers / supervisors prepare safely for an effective start-up.
